Labuan Avian Group was established in 2008 and become a group of Birdwatcher enthusiast and committed to promote Conservation and Wildlife reorder especially Aves or Birds for Migratory and Resident.

Labuan Avian Group is currently working on a conservation project to observe several specific locations in Labuan they have identified as pit-stop for migratory birds. Among others are to promote awareness and uncover the potential of bird-watching as one of Labuan island tourism product.

At the moment, this group is proposing to protect Pulau Ular as wildlife sanctuary. Their goal is to provide protection to the avifauna found on Pulau Ular.
